The 2016 Cabernet Syrah is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Syrah, all 100% estate-grown and bottled from our Nagengast Estate Vineyard. The Syrah was aged in 100% Hungarian oak, and the Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in a mixture of American and French oak. After aging on their own for 30 months, the blend was made and the Cabernet and Syrah aged together for another 6 months. This well-rounded, multi-dimensional wine has aromas of ripe black cherries and blueberries, with accents of vanilla and cocoa nibs. Enjoy now and through 2024 to 2029. 135 cases produced.
