The 2016 Tempranillo is a soft, silky, and fruit forward red wine. You’ll notice aromas of cherry, blackberry, and vanilla and will taste even more black fruit with your first sip. This is a rich, full-bodied wine with good structure and lingering finish. It was aged in a mixture of French and Hungarian oak. This lush wine is ready to drink now but will improve over the next 5 to 7 years. The grapes were grown at Scheid’s San Lucas Vineyard in Monterey County. Only 135 cases produced.
