The 2016 Petite Sirah was grown in Monterey County at Hames Vineyard – California’s premiere Petite Sirah vineyard. It has a deep purple color and shows tastes of blueberry and black cherry fruit surrounded by mocha chocolate, dried tobacco, vanilla, and leather. It was aged in a mixture of French and American oak for 30 months. This is a big, bold wine that can be enjoyed now but will improve to its best in 10 to 15 years. Only 105 cases produced.
